Move to Act Rescue Rally
Move to Act held a Rescue Rally to recognize rescue organizations that pull dogs out of Animal Care and Control. The contest ran from October 15 to January 15. We were happy to come in third and won $300 and a $150 Gift Card from Pet Supplies Plus. ARPO (Alliance for Responsibile Pet Ownership) came in first and Heart for Dog came in second. We pulled out 17 dogs from Animal Care and Control and 14 dogs from other places and found them homes. Press Release

Valentines Day Pictures
We're taking pictures again! Another holiday - another way to try to make money for our foster dog program. This is the last week to sign up for pictures. Sign up on the website - or at Lucky Dog. You must sign up and have a daycare reservation this week for us to be able to take their pictures.

Snow and ice - UGH. By the way, we are ALWAYS open. We always have dogs boarding, so we will ALWAYS have someone here in the morning. If you have a reservation for the day, rest assured that we'll be at Lucky Dog waiting on you. If you can't make it, please let us know so that we can let people in that now need daycare because of the weather.

Members with standing reservations are NOT charged for missed daycare due to weather as long as you let us know that you're not able to make it in.
Basic / Puppy Class is our beginning class for dogs and puppies. The class is focused on positive training methods and encourage manners and safety. The basics are covered along with training methods that will help with future training.
Advanced / CGC Class is for advanced students and folks looking for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. The class builds on skills learned in the Basic class.

We take donations to shelters and FACE whenever we have enough. Please donate your old collars, leashes, bowls, towels, toys, treats and dog food. Bring it to us and we'll haul it over. |
